But because I want to find somewhere quiet. Somewhere nobody needs anything from me. Nobody is asking a question, waiting for an answer, or depending on me to figure something out. Somewhere I can just sit. And be. Without feeling like I should be doing something else.
Even admitting that makes me feel selfish. Because there are people who need me, responsibilities I can't ignore, and a life I've worked hard to build.
Â
But sometimes I'm just tired.
Not just the kind of tired that a good night's sleep can fix. Emotionally tired. Physically tired. Tired of questioning myself. Tired of feeling like I'm constantly falling short of expectations that, if I'm being fair, I've probably placed on myself.
Â
And maybe the hardest part is that I can recognize how much I have to be grateful for and still feel completely overwhelmed by it all.
Â
I think what I'm really searching for is a way to reconnect with myself. I want to find the woman who exists beyond all the responsibilities. The woman who doesn't have to work two jobs just to make ends meet. The woman who can sit with a book for an afternoon without feeling guilty about everything she should be doing instead. The woman who can wake up on a Saturday morning and decide to go somewhere simply because she wants to. Who can explore new places, try new things, or spend an entire day doing absolutely nothing. Not because she's earned it. Not because everything on her to-do list is finished.
Â
But simply because it's her life, too.
And somewhere between all of those responsibilities, I find myself holding back. Maybe it's because I'm afraid I won't succeed. Maybe I'm afraid I'm not good enough to do the things I'm dreaming about. Or maybe I'm afraid that if I put too much energy into myself, I'll miss something important somewhere else.
Â
What if I'm so busy chasing a dream that I overlook something my kids need? What if I take a chance and it doesn't work out?

What if I put all this time and energy into something and discover I'm not capable of doing it? I know I can't keep waiting for everything in my life to settle down before I start living the way I want to.
Â
I don't want to give up on the things I'm building for myself. And I certainly don't want to give up on being there for the people I love.
I'm just trying to figure out how to make room for both. Maybe that's the part of this journey I haven't figured out yet. How to be the woman everyone needs me to be while still finding the space to become the woman I want to be.
And for now, I don't have the answer.
I'm still figuring it out.
Sometimes, I'm Just Tired
A LITTLE HONESTY FROM MY JOURNEY
Over the past couple of weeks, I've found myself struggling with something I don't always like to admit.
Â
Believing in myself.
Â
I've been overwhelmed. I've been tired. And somewhere in the middle of trying to keep up with everything, I've started questioning myself more than I should.
Â
Am I doing enough? Am I good enough? Am I making the right decisions? Am I moving in the right direction?
Â
Or am I just keeping myself so busy that I don't have time to figure any of it out?
Â
I have this vision of what I want my life to look like. Not just someday in the future, but right now. I have dreams, goals, and things I'm genuinely excited about.
Â
But sometimes I get so caught up in my own head that I lose sight of all of it
Â
And then there are the moments when I just want to pack a suitcase.
Not because I want to run away from my life. Not because I don't love the people in it.
